Abstract
Image feature representation techniques using orthogonal moment functions have been used in many applications for signals processing. Legendre moments are very popular in this technique. In this paper, we introduce a new rotation invariants of Legendre moments based on Legendre polynomials. The moments unchanged for translated, rotated, contracted, reflected and elongated non-symmetrical or symmetrical images. The algorithm is tested on model image.Download
