Abstract

This paper focuses on analytical modeling of temperature field distribution in a composite body under dynamic heating. A transient heat conduction problem for a layered plate is solved using an auxiliary Sturm-Liouville problem and the construction of a Green's function. This allowed us to obtain an accurate mathematical solution for calculating temperatures at any point in the computational domain. The ANSYS software suite was used to verify and expand the analysis. Finite element modeling was performed using the Transient Thermal (thermal analysis) and Static Structural (thermoelastic response) modules. An analytical solution was obtained describing the heating dynamics of the composite body. A comparative heat transfer analysis was conducted.
