Laser ignition of propellants in igniter by using a micro-laser

Abstract
Experimental investigations of laser ignition of propellants oxygen - methane, oxygen - ethanol, oxygen - kerosene in laser igniter using micro-laser are conducted. Ignition was carried out by initiation of optical breakdown by laser radiation focused near metallic target surface. Experiments were conducted with wide variation of fuel-oxidizer ratio, launch cyclogram, component supply delay and moment of laser switching on.Keywords:
